As concerns for our environment are growing, protecting the world’s natural resources has never been more important. It is a particular concern within the packaging industry; a business that is known for using tonnes of cardboard every year. Increasingly, the Government are introducing new legislation to ensure that businesses are doing their part to conserve our environment’s natural materials.
Here at Fast Pak Packaging, we have an on-going commitment to producing our packaging products in the most ethical way we can. We believe that ‘green means business’ and we strive to meet and exceed our obligations to the environment. We do this in a number of ways, from where we source our products from to the ways in which we dispose of waste material.
As part of our commitment to a greener way of producing packaging, we source our corrugated packaging range from businesses with a strong sustainability policy. We can produce our products from board which has already been recycled, or in a range of virgin Kraft board. This is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable and is sourced from sustainably managed rainforests.
All of our cardboard is also accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) – an independent international organisation promoting sustainable forest management. This certification indicates that you can purchase cardboard from us, safe in the knowledge that it will not have a harmful impact on the world’s rainforests.
Not only do we strive to deliver a cardboard of the highest quality, we also focus a large proportion of our energy into making sure that the process of manufacturing is as green and as environmentally friendly as possible.
